Little Rock man says car stolen at gunpoint

Little Rock police were searching for a red 1999 Ford Mustang taken in an armed robbery early Sunday.

Officers were called about 4:09 a.m. to 4910 Asher Ave. Tyrone Willis, 21, said he'd been helping a friend who had car trouble when a man walked up and pointed a gun at his head, according to a police report. The man took two cellphones and cash from Willis and a woman at the scene, then he got in Willis' red Mustang and drove away.

The vehicle was last seen traveling west on Asher Avenue, according to the report. Officers searched the area but made no arrests.

The robber was described as black, 5-foot-4 and 125 pounds. He was wearing bluejeans and a black shirt.
