Metova app firm to open 2nd Arkansas office, create 30 jobs

Metova Inc., a Franklin, Tenn.-based mobile application software development company, will open a Fayetteville office in a move that will create about 30 jobs, the firm said Tuesday.

The company's announcement comes after Metova opened an office in downtown Conway in January.

Metova's Conway location will have an eventual workforce of 160 employees after the company announced 100 additional hires in July on top of the 60 initially announced in January.

"The fact that Metova is significantly expanding for the third time is a testament to the state's growing reputation as a hub for tech companies," Gov. Asa Hutchinson said in a statement.

The company develops apps and oversees strategy, design and marketing for companies such as Yelp, Dropbox, eHarmony, Flixter and Microsoft.
