Little Rock police said three robbers who held up a Sonic early Friday morning fit the profile of the suspects in three similar cases.

According to a police report, the three men wearing face coverings and latex gloves entered the Sonic on Westhaven Drive near Chenal Parkway shortly after midnight Friday.

Witnesses said the leader of the group, who wore red Razorback shorts, made threats and demands. At least one of the men had a silver or black handgun, according to the report.

Police said two witnesses saw the suspects drive away in a dark, newer model Nissan or Toyota Corolla.

Based on witness descriptions, police believe the same men may have been involved in two other aggravated robberies and an attempted robbery in the area, the report said. All the cases have been reported over the past two weeks.

A spokesman with the Little Rock Police Department said it is not known how much money was taken in the robberies, but no injuries have been reported.

The two aggravated robberies both occurred on Chenal Parkway, at a Shell Station on Oct. 11, and at a Chick-Fil-A on Saturday. The attempted robbery was at a Sonic on Rodney Parham Road on Monday.

All three robbers are described as being in their teens or early 20s. Each was said to stand about 5-foot-9.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Robert Martin at (501) 404-3032.
