The Phases of the Moon Music + Art Festival scheduled for October will not go on as planned, organizers said Tuesday.
According to a statement, "a significant number of unforeseen obstacles, including the continued closure of the only road leading into the festival site," was behind the event's cancellation.
"We apologize sincerely for this inconvenience and hope to see all of you at great live music and events in the near future," the statement reads.
The renamed Phases of the Moon Music + Art Festival at Mulberry Mountain, about 15 miles north of Ozark, was planned for Oct. 16-18.
Tickets were $164.45-$524.95 for the event. According to the statement, organizers will reach out directly to ticket holders for refunds.
