Reports: Weapons found at scene of Oklahoma family slaying

TULSA — Police recovered multiple weapons and protective gear from the suburban Tulsa home where a couple and three of their children were stabbed to death in July.

Eighteen-year-old Robert Bever and his 16-year-old brother, Michael Bever, are charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of their parents and siblings on July 22.

In a search warrant filed Monday in Tulsa County District Court, detectives say they found a hatchet, knife, darts and a surgical blade inside the Broken Arrow home. The Tulsa World reported that detectives also recovered wireless cameras, Kevlar knit sleeves, a neck protector, a black mask and shin guards, along with computers and cellphones.

Police say in another affidavit that one of the brothers told them plans for mass homicide were stored on a computer thumb drive.
