Continued work on roadways in Little Rock and North Little Rock will require traffic shifts next week, the state Highway and Transportation Department said Friday.
Renovations to Robinson Center will close lanes on a portion of Arkansas 10/LaHarpe Boulevard between Chester Street and the intersection of Markham Street, President Clinton Avenue and Cumberland Street starting Tuesday.
Eastbound lanes will see closures from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily Tuesday-Friday, according to a statement. Eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed at times from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Sept. 14.
Starting Wednesday, work on the Norman Road Bridge at Interstate 40 will require lane closures in North Little Rock.
Eastbound and westbound lanes between mile markers 147 and 148 on Interstate 40 will be closed alternately between midnight Wednesday and Friday morning.
Work on overhead signs at I-430 in Little Rock will also require overnight lane closures starting Wednesday, according to highway officials.
Periodic lane closures on I-430 between mile markers 10 and 9 will occur between midnight Wednesday and Friday morning.
All lane closures are weather permitting.
