WYNNE -- A 20-year-old man from Wynne has been arrested after police say he raped and impregnated a 10-year-old girl.
According to a news release from Wynne detective Mike Smith, authorities were notified that the girl was being treated at a hospital, and medical staff found she was pregnant.
The suspect -- identified by police as Justin Roshud Smith -- was arrested Saturday after an investigation by local and state police. He has been charged with three counts of rape and one count of first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor.
The suspect is being held in lieu of $500,000 bond. His next court hearing has been set for Oct. 2.
