NLR man arrested in child-porn case

A North Little Rock man was arrested Thursday on 30 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, the Arkansas attorney general's office announced Friday.

Agents from the attorney general's Cyber Crimes United arrested David Wayne Davis, 62, after someone using a computer at his address offered to distribute sexually explicit material involving children, according to a news release from the attorney general's office.

Davis is being held at the Pulaski County jail with no bail set. He is scheduled to appear next week in North Little Rock District Court.

The jail's roster said Davis also was charged with manufacturing, delivery and possession of marijuana.
