Police: Arkansas teen faces murder charge in uncle's death

FORREST CITY — Police say an Arkansas teenager has been charged as an adult with first-degree murder in the death of his uncle.

Television station KAIT reports that the name of the 16-year-old boy has yet to be released. He also faces another charge of possession of a firearm by a minor.

The Forrest City Police Department says Martesz Childers was found with apparent gunshot wounds following an argument over the teenager stealing money from Childers. Childers was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Authorities say officers arrested the boy at his father's home after a foot chase.
