The Hot Spring County sheriff's office arrested a man Sunday morning in the fatal shooting of a man Saturday night, ending an all-night search in a wooded area near Bismarck.
Jimmy Crews, 46, fled on foot into the woods before deputies arrived at a residence where the shooting occurred, said Sgt. Woody Perry with the Hot Spring County sheriff's office.
Several agencies, including the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the Arkansas State Police and the Hot Springs Police Department, assisted in the search.
"He eluded them for quite a while but was finally captured," Perry said.
The identity of the victim had not been released as of late Sunday, but Perry said the man was in his 50s.
