Police say five black men are sought in connection with an armed robbery that occurred about 11:50 a.m. Tuesday at a jewelry store at Pleasant Ridge Town Center in Little Rock.
Initial reports from Little Rock police indicated four men were being sought in the armed robbery.
The five men stole a tan Chevrolet pickup before robbing the Roberson's Fine Jewelry store and abandoned the vehicle at Fairview Road Church of Christ, behind the shopping center, police said.
Police said the men used a hammer to smash several of the store's glass jewelry cases, and two of the men had guns.
The men were captured on surveillance video in the store. All but the driver, an older, slender black man with a thin gray beard, had their faces covered, police said.
One of the men, armed with a black revolver, was described as wearing black shorts with red trim, a dark long-sleeve shirt and a two-tone beach hat.
Another, armed with a chrome semi-automatic pistol, was seen on camera wearing a camouflage jacket, a Chicago Bulls cap and jeans.
Two others were wearing dark clothing, one with a White Sox cap and the other with a blue cap.
Authorities said video is not yet available, and the whereabouts of the men are unknown. The men left the scene in a black vehicle, according to police.
No one was injured in the armed robbery, police said.
