Two Springdale women were killed and a man from Springdale was injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday in Benton County, Arkansas State Police reported.
A 1998 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Cynthia Turner, 40, was eastbound on Arkansas 264 at Accident Road when it hit a 2012 Toyota Tundra that was backing out of a driveway along the highway, the report said. The Corvette ran into the passenger side of the Toyota and slid under it.
Turner and Holly Hill, 24, a passenger in the Corvette were both killed. Christopher Stowe, 38, in the Toyota was injured in the crash. The report does not specify if Stowe was the driver or a passenger in the Toyota.
At the time of the crash, the report said the weather was clear and roads were dry.
