Cyclists can test themselves on rides of 10, 32, 50, 68 and 100 miles in the annual Big Dam Bridge 100, Saturday. An expo with registration and packet pickup is set for 5-8 p.m. today and noon-8 p.m. Friday at the Statehouse Convention Center. The rides themselves start at 6:35-7:30 a.m. at Riverfront Drive and Willow Street, North Little Rock, with a finish line party following from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street in downtown North Little Rock. The Arkansas Foodbank presents an evening of family fun at its Drive Away Hunger event, 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Arkansas Foodbank, 4301 W. 65th St., Little Rock. Pianist Jon Kimura Parker will help the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and conductor Philip Mann kick off the orchestra's 2015-16 season with the Piano Concerto in a minor by Edvard Grieg, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Maumelle Performing Arts Center, Maumelle High School, 100 Victory Lane, Maumelle. The program will also include Felix Mendelssohn's Fingal's Cave Overture and the Symphony No. 2 by Alexander Borodin. Take a run and sign up to be a hero at the Fighting Red 5K, Friday at Cook's Landing, North Little Rock.
