A Crossett man died after he lost control of his motorcycle Sunday night on a bridge in Union County, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Doyle Lemar Webb, 46, was traveling east on U.S. 82 near the Union/Ashley County line about 6:18 p.m. Sunday when he was thrown from his Kawasaki ZX 1400 and landed on the westbound shoulder, state police said.
Travel conditions were described as clear and dry in the report.
The death was the 341st in a traffic crash in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
