WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. — Authorities are investigating after an Arkansas man was fatally shot while hunting in northeastern Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said the shooting was reported Saturday in a wooded area about 10 miles west of West Siloam Springs, Okla. The agency said several men were hunting when one shot and killed another.
The Delaware County sheriff's office requested that the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation assist in the investigation.
The bureau identified the victim as 28-year-old Donald Upton of Siloam Springs. The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy.
The bureau said no arrests have been made.
