State police arrest 2nd man in thefts

Arkansas State Police on Monday arrested a second suspect in the theft of four agency vehicles earlier this month.

Krishaad Reynolds, 21, was charged with theft of property, first-degree criminal mischief, criminal trespassing and fleeing. State police arrested him after a foot chase about 8:24 p.m. at 12001 Maumelle Blvd. in North Little Rock, according to an arrest report.

The report states that Reynolds is the brother of Traishaad Thompson, 20, who was arrested Sept. 23 in the case.

The brothers are accused of stealing four vehicles from a fenced area of the state police administrative headquarters in Little Rock on Sept. 11. State police markings and equipment had been removed from the vehicles, which were going to be transferred to the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.

The agency discovered the vehicles were missing Sept. 16. The vehicles have since been recovered.

Reynolds was being held in the Pulaski County jail late Tuesday. Thompson was not listed on the jail roster.

The arrest report names two other men as additional suspects, but no further arrests had been made.
