Two Conway men died early Monday in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 65 north of Conway, the Arkansas State Police said.
David Caldwell, 55, and Jacob Hynum, 34, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that happened shortly before 6 a.m. near the Pickles Gap community. A child in Hynum's vehicle was hurt.
Hynum was driving north on U.S. 65 when he lost control of his 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, which crossed the center turn lane and collided with Caldwell's 2000 Chevrolet Equinox, which was traveling south on the highway, police said. Conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
