Little Rock Mills junior guard Darious Hall was almost unstoppable during Arkansas' position camp in August.

Three Arkansas basketball commitments were on display at the Real Deal in the Rock tournament over the weekend for Hog fans to see.

Two 2017 pledges, guard Darious Hall, 6-6, 210 of Mills played for the Memphis Magic Elite while power forward Daniel Gafford, 6-11, 217 of El Dorado played with the Arkansas Wings-Cooper.

2019 point guard Justice Hill, 5-11, 160 of Little Rock Christian was a member of the 15-under and 16-under Arkansas Hawks.

Hall believes they can help the Razorback program.

“We can go up there and set the tone, get the program to a great level and set the tone for whoever comes after us,” Hall said.

He averaged 12.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals a game this season while leading the Comets to the Class 5A state semifinals.

“I want to be part of the Fastest 40,” said Hall of his decision to be a Hog. “I want to get up and down the court and I want to help my state.”

Since his March 15 commitment to Arkansas, Hall said the reaction has been positive.

“It feels great, everybody has been giving me congratulations and going at me harder on the court,” said Hall, who dominated at Arkansas August camp. “It has made me a better player.”

Hall, who averaged 13 points, 9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals a game as a sophomore, talked about his strengths.

“I think I do a good job of getting to the basket and helping my team with assists,” Hall said.

Memphis Magic Elite Coach Eric “Cowboy” Robinson is high on Hall’s talent.

“He is a fantastic athlete, plays hard on both ends of the court, attacks the basket hard and loves to play defense,” Robinson said. “He is a real steal for Arkansas. Once we tightened up his offense, he has a chance of probably being a professional athlete.”
