Formerly an intern at Little Rock ABC affiliate KATV-TV, Elisabeth Armstrong will soon return to the station — this time as a morning show reporter.
Armstrong announced her move from Tyler, Texas, NBC affiliate KETK-TV back to Arkansas in a statement Wednesday on her Facebook page. She had interned for KATV in 2014.
“I am so excited to be returning to a city I grew up in and a station I interned at,” she said. “At the same time, I am sad to be leaving all the wonderful people I have grown so fond of in east Texas.”
Armstrong said she will be joining the KATV team next week. An exact start date was not announced.
