New York Knicks interim Coach Kurt Rambis called out Derek Fisher (Little Rock Parkview, UALR) for not stressing the triangle offense enough during training camp, feeling it set the team back.

New York Knicks interim coach Kurt Rambis doesn’t think former coach Derek Fisher’s coaching showed a lack of focus during training camp.

Rambis was responding to comments Fisher made Wednesday on NBA TV in which he said it's more "challenging" and "difficult'' to run the triangle in the new NBA because there's less practice time.

Rambis, an assistant under Fisher, disputed the notion. He said Fisher tried to deviate too much during camp, teaching a one-guard front instead of the traditional two-guard front for which the triangle is known. It was the most critical Rambis has been of Fisher since he took over Feb. 8.

Earlier this week, Rambis made a reference to training camp not being as productive because "we were in and out of things.''

"If you want to learn something and truly learn something, you have to immerse yourself in it," Rambis said. "We didn't fully immerse ourselves into practicing it, developing it, learning how to work with it, going through the breakdown drills to execute it properly. We skirted over things."

You're outta here

Former Philadelphia Phillies reliever Mitch Williams has never backed down from a confrontation. That attitude may have worked on the mound, but it hasn't benefited Williams off the field. In 2014, Williams took a leave of absence from MLB Network after engaging in a profanity-laced tirade with an umpire during a kids baseball game. Williams was eventually fired by the network.

Williams hasn't done much work as a baseball analyst since, and he believes he knows the reason why: He said he's been blackballed by Major League Baseball.

In an interview with The 700 Level Show, Williams said MLB partnering with every major network has made it impossible to find a job. As host John Gonzalez mentioned at the beginning of the interview, Williams has filed lawsuits against MLB Network and Deadspin after his termination.

Deadspin obtained both pictures and video of the event. The pictures show Williams engaged in an argument with an umpire during a tournament. He was reportedly ejected from that game.

The video doesn't show Williams interaction with the umpire, but it does show Williams talking with the team's catcher just moments before an opposing player was hit by a pitch. According to people at the event, Williams ordered the team to hit an opposing player, hoping to knock him out of the game. Williams admitted that he "told him to throw it inside."

Williams has not admitted to doing anything wrong but said he regrets what happened.

Deflating Spieth

The Masters is two rounds old, and already Jordan Spieth's rivals are looking for novel ways to derail the defense of his title, with Henrik Stenson enlisting the help of his toddler daughter in a humorous Instagram post.

Spieth, 22, was a wire-to-wire winner en route to his first green jacket in 2015, and the world No. 2 will carry a one-stroke lead into today's third round. Stenson posted a picture highlighting one way to slow Spieth's charge.

Stenson's post showed his daughter, Alice, pretending to let the air out of a car tire accompanied with the caption: "Alice told me this morning: don't worry about Spieth daddy, he will be late for his tee time.....@themasters."
