FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Police say a Fort Wayne Wal-Mart employee has died after he fell and a semitrailer backed over him.
Fort Wayne Police Department spokesman Michael Joyner said the man was standing behind the semitrailer helping the driver back up when he was run over about 8 a.m. Monday.
Joyner said the man died at the scene. His name was not immediately released.
Police are reviewing security footage of the parking lot. The store is open for business, but the portion of the parking lot where the fatality occurred has been blocked off.
