Warehouse in LR sold for $427,500

Moses Tucker Real Estate represented 1212 East Sixth LLC in the purchase of a 21,876-square-foot building at 1212 East Sixth St. in Little Rock.

The new owner, 1212 East Sixth LLC, bought the building for $427,500. Dan Fowler, the director of finance and business development at Cromwell Architects Engineers, is a partner in the group that bought the property. Fowler said the building, currently used as warehouse space, is an "important property to our redevelopment and revitalization plan" for the area that has been dubbed the "East Village."

"It has the grit and feel that makes this neighborhood so special," Fowler said. "And it gives us the ability to meet the surge in demand for retail and office space that we have seen recently."

Ron King with ROP LLC was the seller of the property. Moses Tucker CEO Chris Moses and senior commercial broker Eric Nelson represented 1212 East Sixth LLC.

Cromwell and Moses Tucker are the primary forces behind a revitalization of the neighborhood east of Interstate 30. Cromwell is scheduled to open its offices in a renovated building at Sixth and Shall streets.

The Cromwell project is being called The Paint Factory. Retail and residential components are also planned for the development.

"We are thrilled to be a part of this exciting transaction and remain committed to downtown and the redevelopment of the East 6th Street Corridor," Moses said in a news release.
