UALR names former Trojan as assistant basketball coach

LITTLE ROCK — UALR basketball coach Wes Flanigan has hired former Trojan player Solomon Bozeman as an assistant coach.

Flanigan announced the hiring of Bozeman on Wednesday, a day after he hired Kwanza Johnson as associate head coach.

Bozeman spent the past two seasons as an assistant at Abilene Christian.

Bozeman was the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in 2011 and the conference tournament's Most Outstanding Player after leading the Trojans to the tournament championship and a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

He also played professionally in the NBA Developmental League and overseas.
