A Lonsdale woman was killed Thursday morning when her vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree in Saline County, according to a state police report.
Sue Hogue, 68, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet east on Ziegler Road, between Hot Springs Village and Benton, before the crash, which happened around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, the report said.
It was the 134th fatality reported on state roads in 2016, according to preliminary state police records.
Police reported that road conditions at the time of the crash were clear and dry.
