As a matter of policy, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette will publish corrections of errors in fact that have been printed in the newspaper.
The corrections will be made as soon as possible after the error has been brought to the attention of the editor at (479) 872-5168.
Stacy G. Williams, director of the Center for Training Transportation Professionals at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, commented generally about types of soil for road construction in a previous article, not specifically about soil from a proposed Washington County-run dirt mine. Her previous comments were inaccurately reported in a story in Friday’s edition.
