Art Exhibit and Reception

ARKADELPHIA — A reception will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday for How I See It, Works by Smithzonian Students, at the Arkadelphia Arts Center, 625 Main St. Awards will be announced at 6 p.m. This eclectic exhibit by the students at the Smithzonian Art Center includes works in a variety of mediums by first-graders through senior adults. HOT SPRINGS — Hot Springs artist Barbara Cade will host an open studio from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and May 1 at the Blue Rock Studio, 262 Hideaway Hills Drive. Ageless Bikers Club

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Ageless Bikers Club has rides at 1 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays along paved country roads in Hot Springs Village. The club has 10 different rides that are 16 to 35 miles long, with two rides that include up to 3 miles of dirt terrain. The group stops often to regroup and socialize. Saline Memorial Health Foundation Fundraiser

BENTON — Paul Harris and The Cleverlys will headline the Saline Memorial Health Foundation’s fundraiser, set for 6:30 p.m. May 12 at the Benton Event Center. Paul Harris, a native of Mountain View, is a comedian, singer and musician, with tastes ranging from rock to bluegrass, and has been performing in Branson for nearly 20 years. The Cleverlys are the “family band” that’s best described by Harris as “bluegrass meets The Office.” Proceeds from the event will benefit the Saline Memorial Health Foundation, the fundraising arm for Saline Memorial Hospital. Christopher Castleberry Golf Classic

BISMARCK — The Christopher Castleberry Golf Classic will take place May 28 at the DeGray Lake Golf Course, 2027 State Park Entrance Road. Tee-time for the two-man scramble is 9 a.m. The tournament will support the Christopher Castleberry Memorial Foundation Business Scholarship. Castleberry was a 2006 graduate of Henderson State University who died in 2010. The foundation awards an annual scholarship to a senior at Fountain Lake High School and a business student at Henderson State.
