Emma Ave., Suite 131 in Springdale.

Spradlin to hold

presentation

As a bonus feature of the second annual Bentonville Youth Literature Festival, author Michael Spradlin will give a special presentation for homeschool students and their families at 11 a.m. Monday at the Walmart Community Room. Homeschoolers are invited to be inspired by this New York Times best-selling author and book lover who knew that “writing books would be the coolest job ever.”

Spradlin’s children and teen books are full of mystery, history and lots of adventure. His adult titles feature zombies, pirates and cowboys. Spradlin has collaborated with author Roland Smith on the I.Q series and with Bentonville illustrator Ard Hoyt on a picture book biography of Daniel Boone. This presentation will encourage readers and inspire young writers.
