Grammy, Tony and Olivier award-winner Patti LuPone will perform, backed on five numbers by the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith Chorale, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in a concert titled "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda," at the ArcBest Corp. Performing Arts Center, Fort Smith Convention Center, 55 S. Seventh St., Fort Smith.

Meredith Maddox Hicks and Rick Dimond will team up for a free concert Tuesday at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

The concert, part of the university's Season of Entertainment 35, features songs from roles LuPone has played, will play, and could have, would have and/or should have played. The Chorale will form the chorus for "Blow, Gabriel, Blow" from Anything Goes and "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat" from Guys and Dolls, and sing behind LuPone on "Some Other Time," "Sleepy Man" and in "Trouble" from The Music Man. Accordion and violin

Arkansas Symphony Orchestra musicians Rick Dimond, on digital keyboard and accordion, and Meredith Maddox Hicks, violin, will perform at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the hospital Lobby Gallery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, 4301 W. Markham St., Little Rock, part of the Dr. Ruth Marie Allen Concert Series at UAMS.

Dimond, the orchestra's timpanist, and Maddox, a member of the orchestra's Quapaw Quartet, will play arrangements of Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5, "It Ain't Necessarily So" from George Gerswhin's Porgy and Bess, Astor Piazzolla's "The Shark" and Sting's "Message in a Bottle." 'Solitude' at Hendrix

The Hendrix College Chamber Orchestra will put on a concert titled "Soledad" ("Solitude"), focusing on "music that celebrates the individual in his/her solo capacity," at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Reves Recital Hall, Hendrix College, 1600 Washington Ave., Conway.

Violinist Jalin Parry, winner of the 2016 Hendrix Concerto and Aria Competition and a 2015 alumna of Little Rock Central High School and the Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestra, will play the first movement, "Allegro," from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 3 in G major, K.216. The program also includes the Sinfonia for Strings by Eric Ewazen, with guest conductor Gretchen Renshaw; Serenade, op.31, by Benjamin Britten with Matthew K. 'Glory & Grandeur'

The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas will close out its 2015-16 mainstage season with a concert titled "Glory & Grandeur," 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Baum Walker Hall of Fayetteville's Walton Arts Center, 495 W. Dickson St. The program will include Peter Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 and Francis Poulenc's Gloria, with soprano soloist Tami Petty, the SoNA Singers and the John Brown University Cathedral Choir. Bluegrass Monday

Jeff Scroggins and Colorado -- Jeff Scroggins, banjo; Tristan Scroggins, mandolin; Greg Blake, guitar and vocals; Ellie Hakanson, fiddle and vocals; and Isaac Calender, bass -- will perform for Jonesboro radio station KASU-FM, 91.9's monthly bluegrass concert at 7 p.m. Monday at the Collins Theatre, 120 W. Enchanted installation

Landscape architect Gary Smith will install his "Enchanted Forest: An Art Installation by W. Gary Smith," Monday-Friday at Garvan Woodland Gardens, 550 Arkridge Road, Hot Springs. There will be an opening ceremony, 6-7 p.m. Wednesday in the Gardens' Magnolia Room and a closing ceremony at 2 p.m. Friday, followed by a reception in Garvan Pavilion. Admission is $15, $5 for children 6-12, free for kids 5 and under.

The installation will be on display through the spring of 2017 and will be incorporated into the gardens' seasonal displays, including Holiday Lights and Tulip Extravaganza. Oaklawn Park's Finish Line Theater will put on its eighth Summer Concert Series in Hot Springs, starting with a 7 p.m. May 27 performance by Gladys Knight. Tickets are $50 and $65.

Teacher artists

July 8 is the deadline for teaching artists -- performing, literary or visual artists who are interested in working with teachers and students in schools or after-school/summer programs -- to apply to the Arkansas Arts Council for its Arts in Education Artist Roster. Intensive theater

The Youth Theatre of Central Arkansas will host its annual Summer Intensive Program for ages 10-18, weekdays June 6-July 16 in the Snow Fine Arts Center, University of Central Arkansas, 201 Donaghey Ave., Conway. The Junior Theatre Intensive for students 10-13 will run 9 a.m.-noon, the Senior Theatre Intensive for students 14-18 will run 1-4 p.m. and the Film Intensive will run 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday-Friday.

Everything culminates in open-to-the-public performances at 7 p.m. July 15 and 2 p.m. July 16 in the Snow Fine Arts Center's Bridges/Larson Theatre. Registration ends June 6.
