Police released information Tuesday about a car wreck that killed a Springdale man in January.
According to the Arkansas State Police report, John C. Burks, 51, was killed when the Lexus he was driving swerved off both sides of the road before striking a tree on January 28.
An obituary published in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette says Burks died later that day.
Police described the conditions at the time of the crash as clear and dry.
It wasn't immediately clear why it took so long for police to release the preliminary crash report.
