Arkansas woman killed, man injured after vehicle hits guardrail, drives off road

A woman from Strawberry was killed and a man injured when their vehicle stuck a guardrail and left the road Tuesday, according to a state police report.

Bobbi Sue Geurin, 57, was a passenger in the 2000 Lincoln that went off U.S. Highway 67 around 2:35 p.m. Tuesday near the Little Red River Bridge, according to the report.

The driver, Ralph Boyd Geurin, 57, was injured and taken to UAMS Medical Center, according to the report.

Police wrote that conditions at the time were clear and dry.

It was the 145th death on Arkansas roads in 2016, according to preliminary state police records.
