Arkansas motorcyclist dies after hitting BMW on I-430, police say

A 57-year-old motorcyclist died Thursday evening in a collision on Interstate 430 in Little Rock, authorities said.

Arkansas State Police reported Kenneth R. Tosh of Batesville was riding a 2004 Victory motorcycle north on the highway when a 2003 BMW stopped in front of him near Rodney Parham Road.

According to a report, the motorcycle first hit the back of the BMW and then the guardrail. Tosh then fell off of the vehicle, the report said. He suffered fatal injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the wreck, which happened shortly after 5 p.m.

Conditions at the time were said to be clear and dry.

The death was the 147th in a car crash on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary statistics.
