Kroger's online shopping service, ClickList, will be available in Little Rock beginning next week.

The grocery chain said it will begin accepting online orders from customers for its store at 14000 Cantrell Road on Sunday. Orders placed that day will be available for customers to collect on Aug. 11.

The four-day wait period is just for the initial introduction of the service, according to a Kroger spokesman. Customers will eventually be able to place orders and pick them up the next day.

More than 40,000 items, including fresh meat and produce, are available as part of the ClickList program. Enrolled customers place their orders online, select a pick-up date and time, and have their groceries brought to them at the pick-up location.

The service also will open for orders at 6929 John F. Kennedy Blvd. in North Little Rock on Aug. 14, with items ready to be picked up Aug. 18. The ClickList program will be available for additional stores in Little Rock, Conway, Maumelle, Hot Springs and Benton at a later date, according to a news release.

Kroger first introduced ClickList last year.
