North Little Rock woman wins $100,000 on scratch-off

A North Little Rock woman has won $100,000 playing an Arkansas Scholarship Lottery scratch-off game.

The lottery said in a statement Tuesday that Bessie Dexter claimed the prize Friday after winning the money on a $5 Money Multiplier ticket. She told officials she will put some of the winnings into savings while devoting some to her children and to paying bills.

Dexter bought the winning ticket at Si Si Mart, 2500 Highway 161 in North Little Rock. That retailer gets a $1,000 commission.
