Razorbacks on North Dakota State basketball schedule

— Arkanas will host North Dakota State next season, according to a schedule posted on the Bison website.

The game is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 20 at Bud Walton Arena. It will be the first ever meeting between the teams.

Arkansas 2016-17 Nonconference Schedule

TBA - at Minnesota

TBA - vs Stephen F. Austin

Dec. 3 - vs Austin Peay

Dec. 6 - vs Houston

Dec. 17 - vs Texas (in Houston)

Dec 20 - vs North Dakota State

Jan. 28 - at Oklahoma State

North Dakota State went 20-13 last season and 8-8 in the Horizon League. The Bison failed to make the postseason last year, but were in the NCAA Tournament in 2014 and 2015.

This is the seventh known nonconference game for Arkansas next season. The Razorbacks are also scheduled to host Houston, Stephen F. Austin and Austin Peay, play at Minnesota and Oklahoma State, and play Texas in Houston.

Arkansas director of basketball operations Matt Zimmerman said last week that the Razorbacks' nonconference schedule has been completed, but the program is awaiting signed contracts before officially announcing the games.
