A man fighting with his wife in the car she was driving about 70 mph Sunday night grabbed the steering wheel and crashed their car into a wall, according to a police report.
Terry Tate's son was in the car when police say Tate caused the crash.
The family then returned to their south Little Rock home in the 6700 block of Poppy Road, where police say that Tate assaulted his wife, causing visible injury.
Tate, 42, was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor and third-degree domestic assault, both felonies.
