The worker told police that Khadijah Hasan, 19, of Little Rock hit her in the side of the face with an open palm while Hasan's fingers were bent in a half-clenched manner, police said. The worker had minor cuts on the outside corner of her eye and above her eyebrow, according to the report.

Hasan was arrested Monday evening at Baptist Health Medical Center, 3333 Springhill Drive in North Little Rock, police said.

As she was being driven to jail, Hasan was calm at first but then began rapping about "brutalizing police officers and other law enforcement," according to the report.

Police said Hasan became somewhat apologetic when they arrived at the jail, but then she had to be pepper-sprayed and physically restrained minutes after being uncuffed inside the intake area, police said.

Hasan was charged with second-degree battery, according to an arrest report.

She was listed on the Pulaski County jail inmate roster Tuesday night with bail set at $10,000.
