VIDEO: Little Rock Family Dollar robbed; 2 sought

Little Rock police were investigating an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store Tuesday night.

Officers responded at 9:07 p.m. to the business at 10422 Chicot Road. Employees and customers said two men held them at gunpoint and took money from a cash register and a safe, according to a police report. The robbers also took a woman's purse.

No injuries were reported. Police said the robbers were last seen running north from the business.

A police dog reportedly followed the suspects' trail and led officers to a hoodie. The hoodie matched what one of the suspects wore during the holdup, the report said. Police kept the clothing as evidence.

The suspects are both described as black and between the ages of 18 and 20. One had a dreadlock ponytail and wore a dark hoodie, green Nike tennis shoes and white-and-green shorts. The other wore a gray hoodie, dark shorts and black shoes.
