Report: Man with socks on hands robs Little Rock Waffle House

Little Rock police are investigating after a robbery was reported early Thursday at a Waffle House.

Officers were called at 2:54 a.m. to the business at 201 N. Shackleford Road. Employees and customers said a man wearing socks on his hands and a T-shirt over his head had entered the restaurant and demanded money from a cash register, according to a police report. The man held one hand underneath his shirt, as if he had a weapon.

The man took an unknown amount of cash and fled on foot, according to the report. No injuries were reported.

Police searched the area but made no arrests.

The man is described as black, 5-foot-9, 165 pounds and between the ages of 20 and 30. He wore blue jeans and a red, white and blue plaid shirt.
