Texarkana police are looking for the person they think shot a man at the Paradise Club overnight Saturday.
Police found 23-year-old Montel Walker at the club — located at 2502 E 9th St. — a little after 1 a.m., a news release said. Walker had sustained a gunshot wound and was taken to Wadley Regional Medical Center, where he is recovering.
The release said police are looking for LaJason Coakley, 23, who they identified as the shooter. He is wanted on a charge of first-degree battery.
