Arkansas man killed when pickup runs off curve, flips into creek

A Sebastian County man died after losing control of his pickup at a curve, causing it to overturn and land in a creek, according to an Arkansas State Police report released this week.

Authorities said the single-vehicle rollover crash occurred around 10:20 p.m. Aug. 12 when a 2001 Ford Ranger driven by Daniel A. Belle, 36, of Hartford left West Harmony Road around 1 mile east of Church Road.

State police said Belle’s westbound pickup then traveled off the side of a bridge, flipped into a creek and landed on its roof.
