BENTONVILLE -- Construction on the Bella Vista bypass will require lane closings on Peach Orchard Road in Benton County all week.
Crews will install cross drains on Peach Orchard Road, according to Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department officials. The work will reduce traffic to one lane beginning half a mile from its intersection with North Walton Boulevard and ending west of the new Peach Orchard Road overpass above the Bella Vista bypass. East and west lanes will alternately be closed during work hours. Two-lane traffic will be open during non-work hours.
The lane closings will continue through Friday, weather permitting. One-lane traffic will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The work was originally scheduled for Aug. 1-5, but had to be rescheduled.
