FAYETTEVILLE -- Fisher Vollendorf shot an even-par 36 over nine holes Tuesday, and teammate Kyle Robinson added a 39 as Fayetteville battled breezy conditions to post an easy, three-team match victory over Siloam Springs and Rogers Heritage at Paradise Valley Athletic Club.
Vollendorf and Robinson, both transfers into Fayetteville this season, were the only two Purple Bulldog golfers to shoot below 40. As a team, Fayetteville fired a four-man total of 157, well ahead of Siloam Springs at 178 and Rogers Heritage which finished with a 194.

Vollendorf, a junior who has committed to Arkansas, was one of the few who was able to manage to windy conditions with his even-par round.
"It was real windy out there and the course wasn't in the best condition it's been in," Vollendorf said. "So it was a grind out there and I was just able to make some putts."
Fayetteville also got a score of 40 from Grant Hynes and a 42 from Jackson Cole. Denver Davis carded a 44 for the Bulldogs which was not included in the four-player total.
Siloam Springs was led by Noah Karp, who finished with a 41. Jackson Wood led all Rogers Heritage golfers with a 44.
"We know we're the best team in the state," Vollendorf said. "So when we on the team compete amongst ourselves, whether it's in matches, in practice our in tournaments, we always feel like we need to compete real tough and get better.
"We want to be under par each round and it didn't happen today. It wasn't our best day but it's a reachable goal. Every one of us on this team is capable of shooting under par. So that's our goal every round."
In the girls' match, Siloam Springs and Fayetteville squared off in a head-to-head match, with the Lady Panthers winning by a 146 to 160 total.
Junior Brinkley Beever earned medalist honors for Siloam Springs, firing a 37 over the nine hole round.
"I started out kind of rough and was three over through four," Beever said. "But I ended up with two birdies so I was pretty happy with it
"I always want to do the best I can individually, but the girls around me are doing well this year and if I do well then usually as a team we can do pretty well."
Anna Witte led the Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday with a 48.
