Pulaski County deputies see marijuana, arrest resident

A College Station man faces two felony and two misdemeanor charges after deputies found marijuana on a table and a gun in his residence while serving a warrant, according to a police report.

Desmond Moore, 29, was arrested Wednesday around 2 p.m. at his residence, 4016 E. 38th St., deputies said.

Deputies were on Moore's porch when one saw marijuana and a scale on a table, according to the report.

Moore then stepped outside, according to the report, and told deputies the marijuana and the scale were his. Deputies then searched the residence and found a handgun, which Moore also told deputies belonged to him, according to the report.

Deputies charged Moore with possession of a firearm by certain persons, possession of marijuana, possession of instruments of crime and violation/suspension of probation, according to the report.

He was listed on Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Wednesday night.
