Two people were arrested after a Garland County woman was bound with duct tape in her home and beaten, authorities said.

Richard Rodney Dennis, 34, and Toni Renee Lum, 35, each face a charge of false imprisonment, the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record reported Thursday. Lum also faces a charge of third-degree battery.

The victim told investigators the pair forced their way into her home outside Hot Springs and then bound her arms and legs with duct tape "under the threat of violence," according to a probable cause affidavit. Police say Lum then punched the victim before Dennis freed her and the two assailants fled.

Lum and Dennis were arrested Tuesday. Both remained in the Garland County jail Thursday morning, according to online records.
