The couple said three men knocked on the front door of a home in the 2300 block of Boydston Street.

One of the three burglars forced his way through the front door after the boyfriend said he did not have any marijuana, the report states.

After a short struggle, the boyfriend was taken to the kitchen, where the burglars tied his wrists with white extension cord and placed a pair of black shorts on his head to blindfold him, according to police.

The girlfriend, who said she was attempting to sleep, walked into the kitchen after hearing scuffling, a chair tipping over and her boyfriend calling her name. She, was then tied up and blindfolded, according to police.

One of the burglars pinned the boyfriend to the floor, striking him repeatedly in the face, the report said. The boyfriend -- who suffered a black eye, a small cut on his eye and bruises on his head -- told police the burglars repeatedly asked for "guns and money."

After hearing the three drive off, the couple managed to get loose.

No suspects had been identified as of Thursday, and no witnesses were present at the time of the burglary, police said.
