September is when things fall — leaves fall, fall, fall, the temperature falls (but not much), and newspapers plop on the porch, Ron Wolfe writes in Tuesday’s Style section. Labor Day drops on Monday, circus clowns go whoopsy-boom, and bronc riders take a tumble. But things pick up too: fall festivals, fall arts and crafts shows, and the main thing to pick up — more leaves.
