NEW YORK -- Tom Brady could be without another of his favorite targets.

New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola speaks with reporters in the team's locker room before an NFL football team practice, Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, in Foxborough, Mass.

New England wide receiver Danny Amendola left late in the third quarter of the Patriots' 26-10 victory over Los Angeles with an ankle injury and did not return.

He was later spotted walking on crutches in the tunnel underneath Gillette Stadium.

Should he miss any playing time, it would be the latest blow to a team that's already lost tight end Rob Gronkowski to season-ending back surgery last week. It also creates a hole on special teams, where Amendola also serves as the primary punt returner.

"Any time you lose a guy like Danny who's another big piece of this team, it's terrible," receiver Julian Edelman said.

"He's a good leader on this team. He comes in and he makes plays. He catches first downs like it's nothing. He makes big plays in the special-teams game. So it's gonna be tough."

Patriots cornerback Eric Rowe also did not return after leaving with a hamstring injury.

Giants defensive lineman Jason Pierre-Paul left in the second quarter of New York's 24-14 loss at Pittsburgh with a groin injury.

Pierre-Paul was hurt on a screen pass late in the first half. He walked slowly to the locker room but did not appear limping, but was ruled out for the rest of the game in the second half.

New York also lost cornerback Coty Sensabaugh to a rib injury.

Some other significant injuries:

• Atlanta lost left tackle Jake Matthews to a left knee injury in the first half of the Falcons' 29-28 loss to Kansas City.

• Houston wide receiver Braxton Miller (shoulder) left in the first half of the Texans' 21-13 loss at Green Bay and did not return.

• Tampa Bay wide receiver Cecil Shorts III was taken off the field on a cart after sustaining a knee injury on a hard hit by San Diego's Jahleel Addae following a catch on the Bucs' first possession of a 28-21 win.

Brady wins 201st

Tom Brady now stands alone when it comes to career victories by an NFL quarterback.

Brady became the league's leader in victories among quarterbacks, earning his 201st by throwing for 269 yards and a touchdown to lead the New England Patriots past the struggling Los Angeles Rams 26-10 on Sunday.

Brady, who was 33 of 46, had tied Peyton Manning last week in a victory over the New York Jets.

"It's always been about winning, and I've been very fortunate to be on a lot of great teams," Brady said of reaching the milestone. "I'm just really grateful."

His lone touchdown pass came on a 14-yard pass to Chris Hogan in the first quarter.

Fisher extended

The Los Angeles Rams have given Coach Jeff Fisher and General Manager Les Snead contract extensions.

Rams spokesman Artis Twyman confirmed the moves before Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. The deal for Fisher was first reported by the NFL Network, which said it was a two-year extension through 2018.

In his fifth season with the Rams, the first four in St. Louis, Fisher has presided over a 31-43-1 record. They have yet to finish above .500 in his tenure and they haven't made the playoffs since 2004.

Snead also became the Rams' general manager in 2012, taking over a 2-14 team.

Kelly's father dies

San Francisco 49ers Coach Chip Kelly's father has died.

Kelly coached the team against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, just two days after his dad Paul passed away.

Team spokesman Bob Lange confirmed Chip Kelly flew to New Hampshire late Friday after learning of his father's death. He returned in time for meetings on Saturday evening and coached the team in Sunday's 26-6 loss at Soldier Field.

Kelly was on his way back east after the game to be with his family, including his mother Jean, who did not want him to miss the game. Kelly told CSNBayArea.com, "My mom wanted me to coach."

General Manager Trent Baalke issued a statement saying Kelly will take some time off before rejoining the team this week.

"Chip has our continued support as he mourns the passing of his father," Baalke said.
