FAYETTEVILLE -- Arkansas offensive tackle Dan Skipper was voted to the first team and tailback Rawleigh Williams made the second team in All-SEC balloting by league coaches released Tuesday.
Skipper, a 6-10 senior from Arvada, Colo., was a preseason first-team All-SEC choice.
Williams, a sophomore from Dallas and the SEC's leading rusher with 1,326 yards, joined LSU's Leonard Fournette and Vanderbilt's Ralph Webb on the second team. The first-team picks at tailback were Auburn's Kamryn Pettway, who leads the SEC with 124.8 rushing yards per game, and LSU's Derrius Guice, who averages 113.5 rushing yards per game and leads the league with 14 rushing touchdowns.
Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players. The SEC individual award winners will be released today, and the All-Freshman Team will be announced Thursday, when The Associated Press All-SEC teams will be announced.
Alabama freshman Jalen Hurts, who is fifth in the conference with 274.5 total yards per game, was voted as the first-team quarterback. Hurts and the unbeaten Crimson Tide (13-0) will take on Washington in the Peach Bowl on Dec. 31 in a College Football Playoff semifinal.
Ole Miss' Chad Kelly and Tennessee's Josh Dobbs tied at quarterback on the second team.
Alabama led all SEC teams with 11 picks on the first and second teams. Hurts was among seven first-team selections for Alabama, joining defensive end Jonathan Allen, defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick, linebacker Reuben Foster, offensive tackle Cam Robinson, punter JK Scott and receiver ArDarius Stewart.
LSU had nine players on the two teams, while Auburn, Florida and Texas A&M placed six players each.
Auburn's Pettway, who did not log a carry last year or in the season opener against Clemson, prospered after moving from fullback. His 1,123 rushing yards were accumulated in nine games.
Guice rushed for 1,249 yards in 11 games and led conference tailbacks with 8.0 yards per carry.
Dobbs leads the SEC in passing efficiency (152.6) and with 26 touchdown passes. Kelly, the preseason first-team All-SEC choice, passed for 2,758 yards and 19 touchdowns before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Kelly led the SEC in total offense at the time of his injury against Georgia Southern in Week 9.
Georgia and South Carolina had no players among the 54 athletes named to the two teams.
