A 20-year-old man has been arrested in a shooting and robbery last month, North Little Rock police said.

Reggie Hervey, who was arrested Friday afternoon at his home at 711 Blossom St. in North Little Rock, was charged with first-degree battery and aggravated robbery.

The charges stem from a Nov. 17 shooting and robbery at the Silver City Courts complex at 701 W. 18th St., which is on the east side of Pike Avenue in North Little Rock. Police found 30-year-old Derrick Cates, who had been shot and was lying on the ground.

Cates was shot in the face and robbed of his wallet, which he said contained $250, according to an arrest report.

Hervey remained in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of bail Saturday. He also faces revocation of his probation on a previous conviction, according to the jail's online records.
