Rachael Lauren Dean became the bride of Eric James Wilson at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, in Church of St. Mary Mother of God, Washington. The Rev. James Bradley officiated.

The bride is the daughter of R. Renay and Dr. David M. Dean of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Norma and the late Royce Dean of Little Rock.

Parents of the bridegroom are Emily and Andrew Wilson of Wichita Falls, Texas. He is the grandson of Bobbie and the late J.W. Caldwell of Wichita Falls and the late Dorthy and Chadwick Wilson.

Music for the wedding ceremony was by organist Donald Clark, soprano Camille Delaney-McNeil, alto Christine Browne-Munz, tenor Dennys Moura and baritone Jonathan Wanner.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory ball gown by Caroline Herrera with a layered tulle skirt. The draped georgette bodice had a sash of ruched taffeta at the waist. She carried a bouquet of blush dahlias, ivory roses, chocolate cosmos and burgundy peonies.

Jessica Dean Rutherford of Philadelphia was her sister's matron of honor. She wore a blush-colored silk gown with a high illusion neckline and key-hole back. Ann Malone Partee of Charlottesville, Va., was a bridesmaid. She wore a strapless blush-colored gown of silk chiffon. They carried bouquets of roses, dahlias, sweet peas and dusty miller.

Flower girl was Esther Chimka of Washington, cousin of the bridegroom.

Best man was Patrick Hiller of Fort Myers, Fla., and Cory Chimka of Washington, cousin of the bridegroom, was a groomsman. Guests were seated by Blake Rutherford of Philadelphia; Michael Haidet of Washington; Georgi Kapitanov of Iowa City, Iowa; and Eustaquio DeAses of Salado, Texas.

After the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the Willard Hotel in Washington. Guest tables covered in ivory linens alternated centerpieces of elevated arrangements of hydrangeas, astilbe, roses, pussy willow and olive branches, with small gold mercury glass vases of wedding flowers or gold mercury compotes filled with white, ivory and blush florals. Music was by The Klassix.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in public service communications from the University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, where she was a member of Chi Omega. She is communications director for U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.

The bridegroom graduated from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tenn., where he was a member of Chi Psi. He is a digital strategist.

After a wedding trip to New Zealand, the couple will live in Washington.
